The new generation of TPMS universal sensors
Italmatic, leader in the TPMS market, thanks to the expertise and investments in the sector, has developed the new generation of universal TPMS sensor Italsensor 3.0evo characterized by the use of innovative technologies aimed at simplifying the work of tire, optimize processes in industrial wheel assembly contexts and offer excellent value for money.
Italsensor 3.0evo integrates three different programming techniques in the same product:
- It can be configured in about 3 seconds (protocols are already stored in the sensor)
- It is programmable in the traditional way, in about 20 seconds, never becoming obsolete
- It is READY4 Multi-protocol, which is ready for installation without programming tasks, just like an OE sensor, for a selection of vehicles (multi-protocol = 1 single sensor can replace multiple OE sensors). By default italsensor 3.0evo is delivered with the Fit&Go Daimler Mercedes & BMW (FG31) pre-installed.
The sensor is configurable and programmable with the dedicated instrument proposed by Italmatic, also by the most popular programming tools, such as Ateq, Bartec, Tecnomotor.
The exclusive smarttouch feature, developed and introduced by Italmatic first in the TPMS market during autumn 2019, allows you to program the sensor in milliseconds, simply touching it with an Android or Windows smartphone or with the Italsensor smarttouch PAD.
The smarttouch function uses the same technology (NFC “Near Field Communication”) commonly adopted today by credit cards.
In addition to ensuring maximum security during the transfer of data, its application within TPMS has the advantage of making the programming times (being milliseconds) imperceptible and completely eliminate the risk of interference (In fact, this technology ensures that the programmed sensor is only the one that touches the device).
The traditional LF/RF radio frequency communication technology used for common sensors in addition to being slower has a wider range of action (sometimes even beyond the meter distance) making possible errors during programming (possibility to program a sensor other than the one placed in front of the tool).

Programmable in a traditional way, in about 10-15 seconds, if the TPMS protocol for new vehicles has not yet been stored inside the sensor and made available for configuration; therefore the sensor never becomes obsolete.
Configurable in 3 seconds through the use of the most popular programming tools (Ateq, Texa, Tecnomotor, Italmatic, etc.) with a coverage of about 99.5% of the European car fleet. Configuration is possible because the protocols are already stored in the sensor.
The exclusive smarttouch (NFC) feature allows the programming of italsensor 3.0evoST in milliseconds, simply touching it with an Android or Windows smartphone, or with the Italsensor smarttouch PAD.
The built-in bluetooth functionality of the sensor allows the communication of pressure and temperature data to those vehicles (such as Tesla mod.3 and Y) that use this technology. Sensors replace 1:1 OE without the need to be programmed.
Italsensor 3.0evo and 3.0evoST are supplied pre-programmed for about 200 vehicles among which most models Mercedes, BMW and are at the same time programmable for any other vehicle in the cover list of italsensor .
The 3.0evoST sensor is equipped with specific features designed to integrate the sensor in the automated process of industrial realities (wheel assemblers). The sensor transmits special information useful for process management.
