FURNACES FOR COMPOSITES

The Italmatic ovens for composite materials are designed for all processes of polymerization, baking, and drying of materials such as carbon fiber, glass, and other similar materials, primarily intended for the AERONAUTIC, SPACE, AUTOMOTIVE, NAUTICAL, etc., industries.

Thanks to the experience gained in the field of autoclave manufacturing, the same technology has been applied to the process thermodynamics of the oven, qualifying us as Class 1 oven manufacturers.

The ovens are built in a modular solution to better adapt to future expansion needs but can also be made in customized sizes upon request.

Considering the importance of optimizing space within production facilities, we propose standard door opening solutions such as double swing, guillotine, or single doors, both in manual and automatic versions.

In the perspective of energy and process cost savings for the component in processing, we design and build our ovens with particular attention to the following:

The door, walls, ceiling, and floor are insulated with high-performance ecological materials; sized at the design temperature to contain the thermal dissipation of heating.
The ventilation motors are designed to work with variable speeds, using dedicated inverters, so that the same motor can meet both the recirculation of warm heating air and the cold extraction air for cooling.
Dynamic flow regulation systems, managed by various temperature sensors placed in different areas of the oven, to optimize the energy consumption of the electric battery and the fluid recirculation motors, respecting the temperature uniformity in the chamber.
Our ovens can be equipped with the following accessories:

Vacuum systems, with pumps, tanks, and suction and vacuum measurement lines, manually or automatically managed.
Connections and pass-throughs for thermocouples interfaced with the control system, with dedicated connection to the parts in process, to monitor and interact with the cycle management.
Pass-through connections to pressurize membranes with compressed air or other fluids under pressure.
Pass-through connections for infusion, and for the passage of accessories for the local repair of composite artifacts.
Internal lighting, with portholes positioned on the door or on the wall to view the artifacts in process.
Process control is achieved through PLC (SIEMENS, SCHNEIDER, ALLEN BRADLEY, or equivalents) with a dedicated Touch Screen panel or supervision PC, according to production and reporting needs; the HMI is entirely designed, developed, and updated by our engineers.
