Patented machine for tire carving and regrooving

Robotized machine for carving and regrooving giant Off-The-Road (OTR) transportation tires from 24″ to 35″. Equipped with a patented vision system for detecting grooves to be regrooved on the tire surface, Grooving 35 is also remotely operable.

Standard equipment includes:

  • Clamping system with interchangeable plates

  • KUKA anthropomorphic robot

  • Liquid-cooled electrospindle with integrated chiller

  • 9-position tool rack

  • Safety fencing and gates

  • Joystick system to set the starting point on the tread pattern, with the ability to repeat the machining program step by step

Users can define the tool path by positioning the tool at the bottom of the groove and recording key path points. The system connects these points to form the desired shape, which is then repeated according to the programmed cycle count.
