– Dual Cure (chemical curing – without heat – in any tire shop);
– Heat Cure (for reconstruction installations or in repair systems where heat is applied);
– Uncure & Clothback (for retreading and repair systems where heat and pressure is applied
– typically in autoclaves and sector moulds).
Uncured and Clothback repair units require heat and pressure to be applied in rebuild or repair systems. These give the accession
maximum to better arrange the large complex repairs of the section. Clothback repair units lack bonding rubber, which maximizes shelf life. At the time of use, a layer should be applied to the unvulcanised rubber.
Application of Dual Cure units: with Fast Dry self-vulcanizing solution.
Application of Heat Cure, Uncured and Clothback units:
– Apply with black hot vulcanisation repair solutions in vulcanisation systems where maximum heat is applied to all parts of the repair unit (sector and autoclave moulds; with vulcanisation temperatures of 127 ºC and above)
– Apply Heat Cure repairs with Fast Dry self-vulcanizing solution in curing systems that provide marginal heat (repair while in rebuild molds and autoclaves). Autoclaves that cure at 100 ºC may not provide sufficient temperature for complete curing unless the curing time is increased.
