ITALMATIC AUTOCLAVES for rubber coatings satisfy the increasingly restrictive needs of users, as they are designed to solve specific problems of the product or products that will be vulcanised into them. Study and experience in the sector have allowed us to develop a new generation of machines designed to vulcanize peroxide compounds in the absence of oxygen.

Direct steam autoclaves: heating and pressurization are done with steam. This heating system is particularly effective and suitable for large and heavy items. The uniformity of the temperature which normally oscillates between +/- 0.5°C, the exchange capacity, which occurs with condensation on the coldest surfaces, combined with tested systems, allow excellent results to be obtained.

Electric autoclaves: heating is done with special electrical resistors and pressurization occurs with compressed air; the temperature is uniformed by circulating the air with an electric fan in special ducts. Pressure and temperature are controlled separately.

Italmatic offers extruders for cylinder coating suitable for processing any type of rubber with hardness ranging from 25 Sh/A up to 90 Sh/D with strips of minimum thickness from 2 to 7 mm and widths from 30 to 70 mm. The dimensions of the system regarding the diameter and length of the cylinders are studied based on the specific needs of the customers.
