Patented machine for processing imperfections in OTR tires

Robotized machine for both automatic and manual processing of imperfections in giant Off-The-Road (OTR) transportation tires from 24″ to 63″. Equipped with a patented vision system to detect surface imperfections and outline the areas around craters to be worked on (which can be marked by the operator using a laser pointer or chalk), as well as to measure the amount of material between the plies and the tread using a laser sensor integrated into the robot wrist.
Crater OTR REN63 can be remotely interfaced and performs craters and specialized machining on tires ranging from 25 to 63 inches, using a variety of customer-customizable tools (such as a boring mill, a rectangular cutter for roughing the crater, and an angled tool for finishing the edges).
