Patented machine for the repair of OTR tires
Robotic system for repairing OTR tires through the hammering of hot rubber into previously prepared craters. Suitable for the repair of OTR tires from 35″ to 63″. Equipped with an interchangeable chuck clamping system, KUKA anthropomorphic robot, hammer mounted on a pneumatic rotation system, safety fences and gates, and a dual-joystick control system for defining the polygonal or circular area to be hammered, with the option to repeat work programs with programmable step increments.
The tool path can be selected by acquiring various points along the path using a laser: the system connects each point to create the desired closed polygonal shape, which can then be executed, linked to other shapes, or repeated the programmed number of times.
